Meiling Fong

Meiling Fong, MSc

Principal Researcher | Bilingual Moderator (English/French)

Drawing from a combination of rigorous academic training and nearly 15 years of industry experience as a bilingual (English/French) researcher and marketing professional, Meiling brings to the table a unique interdisciplinary vision and diverse skill set. Over the years, Meiling’s thorough research-based approach and strategic insights have driven the successful development and launch of numerous products, campaigns and strategies.

Meiling began her career in product management at Philips Lighting where she developed expertise in innovation, product development and product marketing. She has since gone on to conduct research in multiple sectors including manufacturing, consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, finance, insurance and technology.

Meiling holds a BCom from McGill in Marketing and Managing Information Systems, a Master of Science in Marketing from Concordia University’s John Molson School of Business and is pursuing an interdisciplinary PhD at Concordia University studying technology, platforms and data privacy. Meiling’s research has been featured in The Conversation, The National Post, Yahoo News and QR Calgary Radio.
